Ballroom Dancing provides an amazing outlet for expression and connection with others. Moving with another person in sync with music, feeling the lead and follow, is a conversation you can have without words while still conveying your emotion, attitude, and personality. Ballroom can be an amazing social outlet to do with friends, or to be trained for a performance by yourself or with a partner for hours on end. That’s what inspires me and why I love ballroom dancing.
Philosophy
For The Love Of Dance
Teaching Tailored To Inspire
My teaching style focuses on your individual needs as a dancer. Everyone has their own strengths and weaknesses and every lesson should reflect that by providing the correct information at a comfortable pace. This may be a focus on choreography, musicality, or emotional awareness. You should always feel challenged in a lesson, but also inspired and accomplished.
Ballroom in the Community
I believe passionately about spreading the incredible world of ballroom and to people of all ages and backgrounds through exciting, unique and unforgettable events and classes throughout the community. I aspire to educate people on the benefits of partner dance and to make it more accessible to more people. There is a stigma generated when a non dancer watches a show like Dancing With The Stars that ballroom is very hard work. Indeed it can be to reach a high level of competition, but ballroom does not have to be hard to be enjoyable. In partnership with other dance professionals, we are breaking these barriers and showing a more social and fun side to ballroom dance.
